MICASA ALL SUITES HOTEL, Kuala Lumpur – Your ideal downtown stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, though I had some doubts about the hotel's five-star status compared to others in Kuala Lumpur. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The location, while a bit out of the way, offers affordable rates that are hard to come by in the city.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spacious, perfect for a honeymoon, and even larger than many houses in Malaysia. The staff put in a lot of effort to make my stay special. However, some improvements could be made in terms of effective communication and politeness training for the staff members.

When we arrived at the hotel, we found the rooms to be a bit dated and slightly smelly, but they were surprisingly spacious and had excellent water pressure for both hot and cold water services. The staff was very friendly and provided attentive and personal service throughout our stay. The location, although not within walking distance to some areas, was very convenient for reaching the US Embassy and conducting business along the embassy row. The dining experience was okay but could use more food variations, and the facilities were satisfactory overall.

The hotel's rooms were stunning, very comfortable, well-appointed, and felt like home, matching the photos on the booking site. Although they didn't feel as clean as expected, the overall experience was very good. The location was convenient, within walking distance to important places like Ampang Park, the USA Embassy, and G Tower, which made it easy for me to reach the US embassy. The dining experience offered both western and Asian cuisine, but it wasn't as good as it used to be two years ago. The hotel had nice facilities, and the price was affordable for Kuala Lumpur city, providing great value for money.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view from my room and the thoughtful birthday decorations, cake, and card left by the GM and the team. However, the design of the building seemed a bit worn. The service was exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff who even helped with carrying our luggage without us asking. The location was convenient, although not very centrally located. The dining experience offered a wide variety, from simple Western cereals to flavorful curry, but some dishes arrived cold. The facilities were decent but could use some improvement.
